What we are doing to better serve you

Sep 1, 2026 | Blog

Last month, our team had the opportunity to visit Altruist. The custodian and technology platform we use to hold and manage your accounts. These trips are part of how we hold ourselves accountable to giving you the best possible experience.

We met with their leadership, explored new platform capabilities, and came away with a deeper appreciation for why we chose Altruist as our partner. We believe that doing right by our clients means constantly evaluating the tools and partners behind the scenes.

Here’s some insight and new news from our visit:

Altruist Being Acquired by Vanguard
On August 26th, it was announced that Vanguard Group agreed to acquire Altruist, a wealth technology and custody platform serving independent financial advisors. The transaction is worth around $4 billion. More thoughts on this to come.

High Yield Cash Accounts
Altruist’s High Yield Cash account puts your clients’ cash to work without requiring any change to your investment strategy. There are no annual fees, no minimum balances, and unlimited transfers. On top of that, FDIC insurance is available up to $3 million across individual, trust, and business cash accounts, and up to $6 million across joint cash accounts through their partner bank network. If you are holding cash and want it working harder for you, reach out and we can get that set up.

Continued Tech Evolution
Altruist has expanded their platform to offer alternative assets, margin, options, and faster money movement, with new capabilities allowing advisors to provide more clients access to strategies once reserved for the largest investors. They are also pushing forward on AI, with tools that help us work smarter and faster on your behalf behind the scenes.

At E2E Financial, we are committed to bringing you the best possible service. You deserve a team that goes beyond traditional portfolio management, one that is constantly raising the bar to make sure working with us means something.

Our visit to Altruist confirmed what we already believed. Their team genuinely cares about empowering advisors to serve clients at the highest level, and that is exactly the kind of partner we want in your corner.
