I have been cooking the Thanksgiving turkey for the good part of twenty plus years. Even when Thanksgiving is not at my house: I still bring the turkey! Why? The turkey is fantastic! I have  Alton Brown  to thank.  Here is his recipe  The secret is in the brining.
